About Me

I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over 12 years of experiencing providing ABA services to children, teens, and adults on the Autism Spectrum.

I received my doctoral degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Having studied under one of the biggest local contributors to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, Dr. James Kopp BCBA, I gained invaluable training and experience throughout my undergraduate and graduate school years.

I have worked with a range of ages and disabilities, from providing residential treatment services, to center and in-home based services for children, teens and adults. My experiences in the field has given me the opportunity to touch the lives of others, something every person dreams for their career.

What is ABA? Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a research based system of instruction that uses the principles of reinforcement, prompting, shaping and fading to facilitate learning and behavioral change. The goal of an ABA program is to develop a program tailored to the individuals needs that helps develop a person’s skill set and abilities in a manner that is data driven, but also fun for the individual.

My Mission As a BCBA, my role varies from case to case, but my mission is to offer consultation, ABA therapy, and family support services to families in East Tennessee. All programs are designed to fit the unique needs of the individual and develop quality programs that are based on data analysis and routine skill assessments. As a private provider, I have the ability to conduct services in the home, community, child care or educational settings as welcomed by the staff.
